Co-op and internships move your organization forward
Co-operative Education connects forward thinking employers with highly motivated and talented students. Whether you require short-term support for special projects, seek new talent as part of your long-term recruitment strategy, or are simply passionate about experiential learning, hiring a UWindsor co-op student is a highly rewarding experience.
Co-operative Education and paid internships work by integrating a student’s academic study with the opportunity to gain relevant, full-time, paid experience in their field. Alternating between work and study terms, students bring the latest classroom learning from world-class faculty members and can apply it to your business needs.

What is a work term?
Work terms are typically four months in duration, however eight, twelve, and sixteen-month options are also available. Each four-month term is typically sixteen weeks of paid, full-time employment (35 - 40 hours per week) that is supervised and related to the student’s major.
“The University of Windsor consistently provides a great pool of students to choose from. We like to hire co-op students year-round as they tend to be savvy to the latest research and trends and will often approach projects from an entirely new angle.”
